Brileigh and Kyler Dailey, siblings and students connected to Clyde High School, were tragically killed in a train accident on Sunday, leaving the Clyde community in mourning.
Brileigh Dailey was a 2025 graduate of Clyde High School and was widely remembered as a proud member of the school’s athletics community. Her younger brother, Kyler Dailey, was a junior at Clyde High School and an active student-athlete. Kyler played football and also competed in track, where he was known for his work ethic, team spirit and dedication.
News of the siblings’ deaths has deeply affected classmates, teachers, coaches and friends, many of whom described Brileigh and Kyler as kind, respectful and full of promise. Their involvement in school athletics made them familiar faces within the district, and their sudden loss has left a profound void.
Clyde High School officials and athletic programs have shared messages honoring the siblings’ contributions both on and off the field. Counseling and support services have been made available to students and staff as the community continues to grieve and support one another.
